You think football players are stupid? Well, it depends what position they play. Offensive linemen, quarterbacks, and tight ends are all smarter than the average Joe. Defensive players, wideouts, and running backs are a little slower. And offensive tackles, the 350-pound Einsteins of the gridiron, are on average as smart as the reporters covering them. Whoda thunk it?

Offensive linemen ARE tackles (or guards). Are you a football fan? :)

Did you read the link? :)

Yes, I know OLs are tackles or guards (or centers). All three categories are smarter than the average Joe, which is why I lumped them together as OLs, but only tackles match reporters.

I'm obviously too dumb to be a football player. I thought you were implying that offensive tackles were DUMB, since you compared them to sports reporters, whom I didn't know were so smart. How smart are offensive bloggers, then? :)

Of course, news reporters are the most brilliant people on the face of the earth. Sports reporters, on the other hand... :)
