I think I want this. I’m sick of paying $40 a month for a phone line I never use.

Don't you need a functioning phone line to have DSL??? That's how it was explained to me (and I don't even get my service from Verizon. In fact, they cut me off about a week after I finally had Earthlink DSL hooked up. But that's another story....)

I'm a happy cable modem user, so I don't need a phone line.
