Worthwhile Canadian initiative finally falters: Alas, Shift Magazine appears to have published its final issue. One of my good friends is an editor at Saturday Night. I'm seeing her later for a launch party for their "Swimsuit Issue" so I'll talk to her about Shift and Saturday Night and let you know the prognosis.
I hope that doesn't mean my site and BlogCritics, where I post reviews of your discs are going to fail at some point...... that would hella-suck!
Shift was the best value for money ever. For $11.95 you got two years of Shifty goodness. My eyes are misty!
Joshua Benton is the director of the Nieman Digital Journalism Project at Harvard University, among other things. Before that, he was a staff writer and columnist for The Dallas Morning News. (More.)
