Nothing says, “Whoo boy, I’m another blogger” than using a seeming arch but actually genuinely timid remark in introducing the link to a humor page where the main joke is both grotesquely out of date and based on a false premise.

Listen, Buckwheat, a disproportionate number of my best friends are gay, and I can assure you that homo-Americans have in no way, shape or form adopted, or even particularly noticed, Scooby, and if they had it wouldn’t be because, as this page you link to has it, one character is a smack addict.

“One doesn't have to look too far to see why the homosexual community was so quick in adopting "Scooby Doo." In the parlance of the net, let me again repeat my main point: WTF?

And Shaggy is a fucking stoner. When’s the last time you met a hungry junky? Besides me, I mean.
