I just interviewed NFL Hall of Famer, Super Bowl MVP, eight-time 1,000-yard rusher, recipient of the Immaculate Reception, and Pittsburgh Steeler great Franco Harris. And I didn’t even realize who I was talking to until the interview was over.
I should really pay more attention.
Um, so what were you interviewing him ABOUT, exactly, if not football?
Strangely enough, his ownership of Super Bakery, producer of the Super Donut.
I'd left a message yesterday asking to interview someone with the company. Franco called me back today and we talked about baked goods for a half hour before I asked for his name. I'd assumed it'd be one of his underlings calling back.
That's hilarious. A fmaous football player now making donuts.
There's a joke here somewhere...
