Here’s my column from today’s paper, on the push to shrink class sizes — and how smaller classes don’t have the academic impact you might expect.
First person! And regression analysis. This is quite an unusual column. I'll be interested to hear what reaction you get from educators. I nearly got in an argument with my cousin the teacher when we were discussing this today and I was just filling her in on the article. Small class sizes inspire passion in some.
i saw this article just now, and i have to say i was disapointed. i mean, i didn't read the article, but your picture next to the article made you look somewhat elfin, and i seem to remember someone said you look like a viking in person. hmmmm.
