Buff, five-foot prehistoric penguin found. And where?
Human-sized, muscular penguins with enormous beaks thrived in sunny Peru 36 million years ago, according to a paper published today in the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences.
Peru. Thus confirming my long-held belief that prehistoric South America was the freakiest place imaginable, what with all these gigantic guinea pigs and penguins roaming the Andes.
