Another hint: While the railing along the glass may seem like a good place to put your beer, it is not. Large gentlemen enjoy banging into that glass, and that can negatively affect your beer’s location.

Great stuff from you and Julia Siles and Roy Peter Clark. Wish I saw your session but had to moderate covering foreign cultures.

Scary stuff from the Youtube clip of the motorized killing insect - would hate to have one of those chasing me! Didn't understand the clip from Full House at all.

David Axelrod's collaborations with Cannonball Adderly and David Macallum sound interesting. I don't think I told you that Dolores and I went to see Pat Metheny last Sunday night after the Nieman Conference. Amazing - at a great funky theater in Davis Square. What Metheny can conjure from a guitar!
